Dedicated Voi parking spaces at Wolfson College, Oxford
Oxford, 12 July 2023: Shared e-scooter company, Voi, has partnered with Wolfson College, Oxford, to offer students dedicated e-scooters to help them get around.
Wolfson College now has a fleet of six Voi electric scooters docked outside the front of College to provide a zero-emission transport option for those without bikes.
From eco couriers to electric scooters, Wolfson College partners up with local initiatives to chip away at Scope 3 emissions - those produced through supply chains, transport and other indirect emissions.
Sir Tim Hitchens, President of Wolfson College, said, "This partnership with Voi is a great fit for our electric college. Since decarbonising our buildings, we're continuing the work by offering more and more zero-emission transport options for our community.
“Voi's electric scooters are right at home here, alongside our pre-loved bike depot and soon-to-arrive electric bus."
Jack Samler, Regional General Manager for Voi UK, Ireland and France, said: “We’re very excited about this partnership with Wolfson College who are pioneering dedicated e-scooters to make it really easy for their students to choose eco-friendly transport options.
“I hope that this is something that other universities will consider to help them reduce their own emissions and contribute towards cleaner, less congested cities.”
