Shared e-scooter and e-bike company Voi is inviting riders to suggest parking spots - in a new development aimed at making e-scooters and e-bikes even more convenient to use.

From time to time, Voi gets requests for new parking locations or for changes to existing spots. Now the company is making it much easier for individuals and businesses to request somewhere new to park -  giving riders direct input into designing the service.

“Suggest a Parking Spot” is available in all of Voi’s cities and towns in the UK.

Individuals and businesses who want to request a new parking location can now fill in an online form available from here and drop a pin when they want the parking spot to be.

Voi will then review the suggested locations.

Individuals suggesting a parking location may identify anywhere that is on public land, while businesses are also able to suggest locations on their private land.

Jack Samler, general manager for Voi UK, Ireland and France, said: “We’re always looking for ways to improve our service to our riders.

“We’re very excited to launch this new parking innovation. ”

Voi will continue to use ride data to identify parking spots and use this initiative to enhance our internal research and knowledge on how parking should be placed around a city.
