Together with Voi, we are excited to empower riders with the knowledge and skills they need to enjoy e-scooters safely."

Voi is also hosting a number of online ‘Ride Safe’ webinars which cover key aspects of safely riding a Voi e-scooter or e-bike, from how to start a ride, traffic rules, road riding etiquette, and how to park without causing an obstruction for pedestrians.

Live webinars run monthly until 12 December 2024 and can be booked here and anyone completing one of them will get 30 minutes of free riding credits.

To ride a Voi e-scooter, download the Voi app, upload a copy of your full or provisional driving licence, take a selfie and complete the online safety driving school. Use the app to find the nearest vehicle, scan a QR code to unlock and ride. Voi advises riders to wear helmets. All riders must be aged 18 or over.

The safety webinars are run by the UK’s leading road safety education and training company, TTC, which has over 29 years of experience, educating more than 500,000 road users every year
