Volati’s board has named Andreas Stenbäck the new CEO and president of Volati. Andreas will assume his position on May 1st and succeeds Mårten Andersson who after seven successful years has asked to leave his position as CEO to instead focus on the chairmanship of Volati’s two business areas Salix and Akademibokhandeln.

Andreas Stenbäck has been the CFO and CIO of Volati since 2019. Prior to joining Volati, Andreas was partner and manager of the Swedish branch of MCF Corporate Finance, an international corporate finance-firm focused on M&A transactions.

- I’m pleased to be able to present Andreas Stenbäck as our new CEO and president. Andreas has extensive experience and is well suited to continue developing Volati, not the least with an even bigger focus on acquisitions, says Chairman of the board Patrik Wahlén.

- At the same time, the Board and I want to thank Mårten for his fantastic work as CEO. One cannot overestimate Mårten’s significance for Volati’s successful journey so far. He has vigorously developed the group and leaves behind a very good platform for continued growth. We are very pleased to have the privilege to continue working with Mårten in his new role as Chairman of Salix and Akademibokhandeln, says Patrik Wahlén.

- Volati is a company I have followed and been impressed by during many years. I am therefore honoured to take on the role as CEO after Mårten Andersson, whom I have had the privilege of working closely with during this last year. I now look forward to leading the company together with all my talented colleagues on its journey of continued growth, says Andreas Stenbäck.

The process of recruiting a successor to Andreas as CFO will be initiated immediately.
