The Swedish Competition Authority approves Volati's acquisition of T-Emballage
The Swedish Competition Authority has decided to take no further action with respect to Volati's planned acquisition of T-Emballage Thureson AB, meaning that the acquisition can be completed.
As previously announced, Volati is acquiring 94% of the shares in the company, while the company’s CEO and deputy CEO, who are remaining with the company, will become partners with a combined shareholding of 6%. The acquisition was conditional on approval from the Swedish Competition Authority.
Transfer of the shares to Volati will take place on November 10, 2017, and T-Emballage Thureson AB will be consolidated in Volati from this date as a new business unit in the Trading Business Area.
