Volvo Cars Engine, abbreviated VCE, is a unit organised within Volvo Cars Manufacturing. VCE's main tasks are machining and assembling of engines.

 

VCE is located in three places:

 

Skövde, Sweden: Management and staff functions, machining and assembly, white collar: 397, blue collar: 1308

 

Ghent, Belgium: Dressing center, white collar: 7, blue collar: 43

 

Bulycke, Gothenburg, Sweden: Dressing center, white collar 30, blue collar: 268

 

The total workforce (Dec -01) is for white collar 434, for blue collar 1,619.
