Flexible access to Volvo cars reaches a new level with extended service from Volvo On Demand
Volvo On Demand broadens its service and allows customers to reserve cars on a month-by-month basis at a fixed price. The extended service takes flexible access to Volvo cars to the next level. Monthly reservations are initially available in Stockholm with a limited number of cars.
From being able to reserve a car per hour, weekend, and week, Volvo On Demand's customers can now also reserve cars on a month-by-month basis at a fixed price. The extension of Volvo On Demand's service responds to a growing demand for flexible car use, where an increasing amount of people value access over ownership.
"By broadening our service with monthly reservations, we reach a wider target group and can offer more customers flexible access to Volvo cars. We look forward to further extending our service and expanding beyond Sweden's borders" says Erik Jivmark, CEO of Volvo Car Mobility.
Monthly reservations will initially be available in Stockholm with a limited number of Volvo cars, offered from SEK 7,990 per month. Flexibility and simplicity are at the core of the service as no manned stations need to be visited. A 30-day period is quickly reserved in the app, and the car is unlocked using the phone. The booking is auto-renewed monthly and terminated no later than three days before renewal.
