PRESS RELEASE: Marko Koistila appointed as VTT’s Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations

Marko Koistila has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team as of 1 June 2022. In the position, Koistila reports to President and CEO Antti Vasara. Marko Koistila joined VTT in June 2019 as Vice President, Sales and Customer Partnerships, and has worked as acting EVP, CO since 14 March.

Marko Koistila is widely experienced in challenging international and cross-functional leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry and has gained understanding of future technologies and their sales. Marko has fruitfully led transformation and customer-centric ways of working in VTT’s sales organization.

“Marko has successfully headed VTT sales and been an integral part of strengthening VTT’s customer centricity. Marko adds value and sustainable, continuous growth to customers and now takes VTT’s commercial transformation forward,” says VTT’s President and CEO Antti Vasara.
