Wärtsilä Corporation, Press release, 18 November 2021 at 09:00 AM EET
Wärtsilä hosts a Capital Markets Day for investors, analysts, and representatives from banks and media today at 13:00–16:30 EET. During the event, Wärtsilä’s President & CEO Håkan Agnevall together with members of the Board of Management will provide information on the company's business operations, the strategic themes of Transform and Perform, and the roadmap to reach the new financial targets announced on 17 November 2021.
“We are on a journey of shaping the decarbonisation of the marine and energy industries. Going forward, we focus on two strategic themes, Transform and Perform. Transform refers to decarbonisation, creating new business opportunities by leveraging growth in electricity generation, balancing power and green marine transport. The Perform theme centres around leveraging market recovery and growth, supported by robust execution and the company’s commitment to both financial and sustainability targets”, says Håkan Agnevall, President & CEO of Wärtsilä.
The event will be held in English and can be followed via a webcast at https://wartsila.videosync.fi/cmd-2021. There is an opportunity to ask questions in writing via the webcast platform. The presentation materials will be available on Wärtsilä’s website at https://www.wartsila.com/investors/IR-calendar/capital-markets-day-2021 at around 12:00 EET.
