Saturday & Sunday, May 9-10

Treat your hardworking mom to a luxurious celebration at Wave Hill! Enjoy a weekend full of relaxing activities for all ages, starting with a sweet Mother’s Day Family Art Project. Listen to stories about animals and their mothers, and honor Mom by creating a unique card and fragrant sachet gift, just for her. Head to The Shop to browse for the perfect gift, and meet special in-store vendors—Swan & Stone’s distinctive handcrafted millinery on Saturday, and Clothe My Soul’s embroidery art and accessories and Priya Himatsingka’s fine jewelry on Sunday.

On Sunday, indulge in a Mother’s Day Brunch in historic Armor Hall. Tuck into soft poached eggs and creamy polenta, Belgian waffles and Meyer lemon and caramel icebox cake, among other decadent options. Round out the weekend with Sunday’s Blossom and Bloom Family Walk. Join naturalist and educator Gabriel Willow on this guided trek through the gardens and woodlands of Wave Hill, and learn about the vital role of flowers in the ecosystem.

All Mother’s Day Weekend events are free with admission to the grounds, unless otherwise noted.
