Lovely Lavender at Wave Hill on Saturday, June 14
Follow your nose to Wave Hill to experience the lovely lavender aromas that will fill the air June 14. Organic lavender and good-for-you ingredients provide the basics for the Cold Process Soap-making Workshop Saturday morning. Discover why particular butters and oils are used as you create soap from scratch during a fun, hands-on workshop with Kensico Soap Bar co-founder and certified soapmaker Kirsten Nagashima. Then join us for a lavender-inflected cooking demonstration. Sample dishes prepared by chefs from Wave Hill exclusive caterer Great Performances. Once you’ve fully catered to your appetite, enjoy a stroll in the garden with a Wave Hill horticultural interpreter to enjoy our diverse collection of lavender in full bloom.
