Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. Its mission is to celebrate the artistry and legacy of its gardens and landscapes, to preserve its magnificent views, and to explore human connections to the natural world through programs in horticulture, education and the arts.

Wave Hill's 28 acres are home to breathtaking vistas, beautiful gardens and, not to be forgotten, honeybees! Celebrate our busy bees and the sweet fruits of their labor on Honey Weekend at Wave Hill. Start at the Family Art Project and create a bee costume for little ones to buzz around in. Borrow our beekeeping gear and discover fascinating facts about honeybees and their hives at an information session; learn abut the journey of honey from bee to jar and taste some for yourself.
