Waystream signs agreement with Njudung Energi
Waystream welcomes another one of Sweden's city networks as a customer. It is Njudung Energi that chooses Waystream's equipment in the upgrade of the next-generation network.
Press release on February 21, 2022:
Njudung continues to expand and modernize the network in the countryside of Swedish Småland. Due to that, they need to continuously invest in exchange equipment. Right now, 3,000 ports are on the old platform, and they will be migrated to new technology.
“When we were going to take a bigger step towards the next generation of technology and implement a Lager2 solution, we were looking for a supplier we believe in. We tested different products in our existing network and the tests with Waystream's equipment turned out well, so we chose the product series MS7048 and MS7024, says Timo Tinderbeck, Business Area Manager Broadband, Njudung Energi.
Fredrik Lundberg, CEO of Waystream, says:
“It is gratifying that Njudung Energi chose us as a supplier when it was time to upgrade its broadband network with new technology. Our focus on quality, high reliability and advanced functions proves once again to be important in the choice of supplier among the Swedish city networks.”
