ProcureCon Indirect 2011 to take place in London on 29-31 March 2011
Worldwide Business Research has announced that its annual ProcureCon Indirect 2011 event will take place on 29-31 March 2011 at the Millennium Mayfair Hotel in London. Now in its 5th year, ProcureCon Indirect remains Europe's only large-scale gathering of indirect procurement professionals. The 2011 event promises to attract well over 200 senior decision-makers from a wide range of industry sectors - truly a 'who's who' of the indirect procurement world.
In contrast to other meetings in this space, the focus for ProcureCon Indirect is directed by the audience itself - numerous heads of indirect procurement and strategic sourcing professionals have been consulted over the past few months to create a tailored event agenda. This approach goes some way to explaining the popularity of the event among CPOs and category managers, who want practical guidance on a specific set of issues, such as:
- Engagement between procurement and the business agenda: Indirect procurement driving the value strategy
- Indirect procurement contributing to financial results such as revenue growth
- Tracking where the savings go & ensuring procurement is credited with savings achievements
- Mastering internal and external stakeholder management to reinforce procurement ’s influence
- Strengthening procurement’s voice through critical talent management practices
The agenda comprises a blend of brand led plenary sessions, 2 interactive panel discussions, 2 expert led clinics and think-tanks, 3 sets of roundtables, and multiple streams focused on delegates' specific concerns for the optimal 360 degree learning and networking experience.
Furthermore, throughout our extensive research, CPOs told us about the increasing importance of data and analytics at the core of their procurement strategy and the leading role that procurement is taking in facilitating BPO implementation across the enterprise. In response to this, an Analytics Focus Day and BPO Masterclass will be held to give hands-on, practical insight on how to drive forward a progressive procurement strategy.
