Webstep ASA: CEO resigns and new CEO appointed
Oslo, 31 January 2019: Webstep ASA is pleased to announce that Arne Norheim has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company to succeed Kjetil Bakke Eriksen, who has announced his decision to leave the company and pursue other opportunities.
“The Board would like to thank Kjetil Bakke Eriksen for a great job during his 13 years as Webstep’s CEO. At the same time, we are very pleased to announce that Arne Norheim has accepted to take over the CEO position” says Mr Klaus-Anders Nysteen, Chair of the Board of Webstep ASA.
Arne Norheim has served as Country General Manager of IBM Norge AS since July 2013. He started his career in IBM US in 1996 and has over the last 22 years held various positions within finance and general business management in different parts of the IBM organisation; in the USA, Sweden, France, Denmark and Norway.
“Arne Norheim has a long and strong track record and is recognised as a solid technology and consultancy leader within the IBM system. Kjetil Bakke Eriksen, who has served as CEO since 2006, has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities.
Kjetil Bakke Eriksen will remain in the company until 2 May 2019 when Arne Norheim assumes his new position.
