Wellspect adds Navina Mini to its broad bowel care portfolio
Wellspect HealthCare, a Swedish MedTech business, announced today the release of Navina Mini, a minimally invasive low-volume anal irrigation product that eases bowel evacuation difficulties. The new product, which is the latest addition to Wellspect’s bowel care portfolio, solidifies Wellspect’s position as a leader in bowel care.
“Designing an accessible and easy-to-use product that speaks to a wider category of people, including those facing temporary or periodic bowel management issues, guided the design of the Navina Mini”, says Jan Hörling, Vice President of Marketing at Wellspect HealthCare.
Speaking to the product’s scope of use, Wellspect says that the Navina Mini is intended to ease evacuation difficulties as well as symptoms of incomplete emptying or soiling.
Beyond the Navina Mini, Wellspect’s bowel care product portfolio includes both manual and electronic high volume transanal irrigation systems, known as the Navina Irrigation System, which effectively relieves constipation and bowel leakage. It also includes the Navina Insert, a soft rectal plug designed to prevent accidental bowel leakage. All products are designed to secure more independence for people suffering from bowel dysfunction.
