Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances (GDPA) – manufacturer of the renowned Lec Medical brand – continues its pioneering approach to medical refrigeration with the launch of a revolutionary, twelve-model range of counter-top and freestanding bloodbanks. Boasting an innovative technological controller that fully satisfies MHRA guidelines, together with a user-friendly LCD interface, these latest models not only guarantee the safe, reliable, cooled storage of blood using ‘The Heart’ - an advanced electronic temperature monitoring system complete with digital display - they also provide improved energy efficiency and lower running costs. All models provide improved usability and accuracy. Whilst the digital display monitors both air and load temperatures at the same time, the LCD interface enables users to easily and accurately change set temperature parameters. For added accuracy, real time probe tests, rather than simulated, are used to measure the air and load temperatures.
