To further extend the popularity of the UK’s most widely specified contract radiant/convector gas fires, Robinson Willey has introduced a striking contemporary chrome finish to selected models in its Firegem Visa and Sahara ranges. Whilst a chrome trim and edging provide the perfect compliment to the Visa Standard and Visa Highline models in black, the same embellishments provide an equally attractive finish to the Sahara Standard in pewter. Embracing the latest in technology, both the Visa and the Sahara Standard also feature electronic ignition. Commenting on these latest enhancements, Sales & Marketing Manager, Tracey Falshaw, said: “This new finish provides added choice for those tenants and homeowners who wish favour modern design without sacrificing the energy efficiency benefits that make RW the number one choice for gas fires.” Tracey adds: “Compatible with a wide range of fire surrounds in both traditional and modern styles, these new-look fires can also be wall mounted. They will be available alongside the more traditional models within the Firegem Visa and Sahara ranges.” /Cont… Page 2/3 - RWLPR02.11 Widely specified throughout the social housing sector, the Firegem Visa and Sahara fires have been continuously and successfully adapted to meet the changing needs of modern housing, whilst retaining their impressive 89% heat efficiency. In addition to a heat output of over 4kW and low running costs, these models boast unrivalled safety features that include RW’s pioneering Safeguard safety system that offers protection against blocked flues and inadequate ventilation. All Firegem Visa and Sahara models also boast an extensive range of features for the elderly and disabled. A top-positioned numbered heat control for ease of access, raised heat markings for poor-sighted users and a control handle for the arthritic and disabled are all available as standard. Plus, a flip-top lid not only conceals the heat control but also houses operating instructions and bespoke security and emergency details. For those preferring a more traditional look, the Firegem Visa Standard and Highline models complete with brass trim continue to be available in olive with teak casing and black with a rosewood casing. A Visa Super Deluxe Electronic model is also available in black with a rosewood casing with brass trims and also features electronic ignition. Other models in the Sahara range include the Standard and Deluxe models which are both available in bronze and pewter with brass. -ENDS- /Cont… Page 3/3 - RWLPR02.11 NOTES TO THE EDITOR: Renowned for its pioneering advances in the field of gas fire safety and energy efficiency, Robinson Willey provides an unrivalled range of RW branded gas and electric fires and fire surrounds for the social housing, new build and domestic markets.
