Boss Design’s innovative task chair makes debut at CDW
A new and innovative task chair that has been created in collaboration with renowned German furniture designer, Martin Ballendat, will take centre stage at Clerkenwell Design Week at the Boss Design showroom at 7, Clerkenwell Road.
Boasting extraordinary comfort and dynamic support by using the natural flexibility of a single ribbon of material, Coza is unlike other task chairs, as it offers comprehensive support through fluid movement without the need for user adjustment.
To celebrate the launch of this pioneering design, Martin Ballendat will be hosting a talk on Wednesday 20th May at 12 Noon at the Boss Design showroom entitled ‘Ballendat - The Story of Ballendat - the Coza chair.’
Also taking centre stage will be Duo - a new acoustic pod from the popular Qube range available from sister-brand, Unifi. Duo presents a contemporary and flexible alternative to fixed partitioning.
The design festival also sets the stage for the final judging of the Student Designer of the Year competition. This will take place on Wednesday 20th May at 2pm.
Chairman of The Boss Design Group, Brian Murray, says: “It is fitting that CDW sets the stage for the debut of our pioneering task chair. As well as being an engineering triumph. Coza shatters the market’s preconceived expectations about what a task chair should be. It is visually and functionally unique, and is the perfect chair to facilitate flexible working in a modern office.”
Brian adds: “As always, CDW is a key event in our exhibition calendar and we are proud to unveil our brands’ latest products at this flagship festival.”
