Boss Design to steer growth with key executive appointment
Boss Design – a global leader in the design and manufacture of high quality office seating, upholstery and tables - has announced the appointment of Gregg Arrington as VP of Operations at its manufacturing base in High Point, North Carolina.
With over 30 years’ experience in furniture manufacturing, Gregg brings a wealth of knowledge to help drive growth of the Boss Design brand across North America. He will take the helm with immediate effect.
Formerly at Steelcase/Brayton International, Gregg’s certification in Lean Manufacturing from University of Michigan has steered his focus in keeping the local cottage industry of suppliers in the High Point, NC region working and growing. Also, his passion for the furniture industry led to the creation of the NCFI (North Carolina Furniture Institute) in 2015 - www.ncfurnitureinstitute.com
Drawing on his passion for furniture manufacturing, Gregg’s new role will focus on delivering new propositions that will be instrumental in developing Boss Design’s brand awareness and expanding sales in key market sectors.
Commenting on his appointment, Gregg said: “I am very excited about this opportunity to work with our President, Jeff Thompson, and our Corporate Controller, JoAnn Kelly. Together, we make a great team, and our plans are in motion to grow and expand our operations utilizing the talent that we have here in High Point.
