Lec Medical demonstrates refrigeration supremacy

Lec Medical will once again exhibit a show of strength at this year’s Pharmacy Show with its comprehensive line-up of pharmacy refrigeration that includes under-counter, counter-top and freestanding fridges. The company will also be demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the safety and functionality of medical refrigeration with an advanced range of temperature mapping and health check options suitable for pharmacies.
A line-up of freestanding fridges will demonstrate the flexible storage options available to pharmacies, together with new drawer packs in anti-bacterial and aluminium options. Whilst the former helps minimise the potential for bacterial growth and cross contamination, the latter features a robust aluminium construction. Both are easy to open for simple replenishment, are removable for easy cleaning and come supplied with 17mm pre-drilled holes to maintain effective airflow within the fridge. Extra dividers are available to compartmentalise certain drugs.
For those pharmacies where space is at a premium, a number of under-counter and counter-top fridges will be exhibited. Whilst the under-counter models are designed to fit under most countertops, enabling the best use of space, the compact countertop fridges are ideal for those outlets where space is limited and are a useful back-up to larger models.
Whilst all Lec Medical’s models boast the ultimate in performance, security and reliability, they also feature a fitted lock, an innovative anti-microbial handle, wire shelves and basket, and come with a two year parts and labour warranty as standard. Most under-counter models also feature a new advanced digital controller, internal light and fitted rollers for ease of movement. Selected models are available with a glass door.
The company will also be encouraging pharmacies to undertake temperature mapping and regular health check services for their medical refrigeration. Designed to ensure that their medical appliance is functioning correctly and safely, the new service options meet today’s rigorous standards fuelled by MHRA and CQC requirements for the safe and reliable controlled storage of drugs and vaccines. Bespoke services are also available to suit individual customer requirements and budget.
