NEW STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO BATTENS FROM SR TIMBER

Covering everything that roofing contractors need to know about British Standards and graded battens, this pocket-sized leaflet is available free of charge and is downloadable from the company’s new-look website www.sr-timber.co.uk

Providing a clear and concise explanation of the Standards covering battens, the guide educates roofing contractors to look for the four S’s when identifying a BS batten – standard, size, supplier and species. In addition, a detailed check list with simple visual references is provided for both ungraded and partly-graded battens, as well as dimensional tolerances and a low down on ‘grade on site’ battens.
