SALUS hits the road with new mobile demonstration unit

In a bid to raise awareness and promote its revolutionary line-up of internet-enabled heating controls, SALUS has unveiled a new mobile demonstration unit that will take to the road visiting merchants and installers across the nation.

Offering installers and merchants the opportunity to trial the full product range on site, whilst receiving first-hand training from qualified SALUS representatives, the unit is equipped with an LCD screen for presentations and product demonstration videos, alongside a seating and refreshment area. Specific information and advice on the operation and installation of the latest iT500 and iT500BM internet-enabled thermostat controls will also be provided.

In addition, a competition will run for those lucky enough to spot the travelling unit and entry into a prize draw for those who actually visit it. A certificate will also be awarded to those installers who become fully product trained on the latest products.

SALUS Controls’ European Managing Director, Dean Jepson said: “We appreciate that it can be difficult for busy merchants and installers to find the time to attend trade shows and find out about new products. It is integral to SALUS to build relationships with installers and what better way to do so than to bring our products to them?

Offering this futuristic technology will not only transform the heating industry, ultimately it will significantly help reduce heating costs and improve energy efficiency,” adds Dean.

SALUS’ internet-enabled controls allow homeowners to manage their hot water and heating systems via a smartphone, PC or tablet. The devices fit 80% of boilers, are simple to use and certain models can even be fitted without any tools. A touch-operated master control unit can be positioned anywhere in the home, on a table top or wall mounted, and this works in conjunction with an exclusively designed SALUS app which is downloadable from Apple and Android app stores.
