March oil production

West Siberian Resources Ltd’s oil production continues to increase. Production during March amounted to approximately 173,000 barrels, or 5,600 barrels per day. The March reporting period was 31 days.

Oil was produced from the Middle Nyurola-field, Kluchevskoye and the recently acquired Khvoinoye-field. Well no 137 was drilled, completed and put on production at the end of the month. Two water injection wells were completed in the first quarter in order to improve pressure and facilitate increased production from the Middle Nyurola-field. ”The drilling program at Middle Nyurola and Kluchevskoye continues. We have added a second drilling rig in order to accelerate the program” says Maxim Barski, Managing director, West Siberian Resources.
