West Siberian Resources Ltd’s shareholders gathered in Stockholm today for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) called by the board of directors.

The meeting resolved to elect Mr Nemesio Fernandez-Cuesta as a new director and to re-elect board members Eric Forss (Chairman), Fred Boling, Claes Levin, Oleg Fomenko and Maxim Barski (Managing Director). It was further resolved that the Board of Directors shall receive a remuneration of SEK 2,000,000 for the coming year, to be allocated in accordance with the resolution of the Board of Directors. PricewaterhouseCoopers AB was re-elected as auditor, with the authorised public accountants Klas Brand and Johan Rippe as responsible. Mr Barski addressed the AGM and updated shareholders on the company’s progress and future plans. He also highlighted recent appointments to the management team and presented the background of new members of management.
