The new app enables users to specify the size and loading of decks with only three simple inputs to find the correct beam size. It also provides users a fast and simple way to send supporting documentation to the local building department, which can help facilitate approvals. For complex decks that require additional design assistance, the app connects users with Weyerhaeuser technical support with just a few clicks. The “Parallam+ Deck Beam Sizer” is available on the App StoreSM.
