Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Nobia (the “Company”), a long-term client with whom the firm have shared a strong corporate memory together, on a list of significant strategic transactions.

Nobia is a leading European kitchen specialist which develops and sells kitchen solutions through a number of brands across the Nordics, UK and Europe. The Company has approximately 5,000 employees and net sales of about SEK 13.4 billion. Over the years, White & Case’s Stockholm team has followed the growth, development and success of Nobia. We continue to partner closely with Nobia every step of the way to support the Company with achieving its long-term business goals.

Across a series of pioneering transactions, White & Case has been proud to serve as legal counsel to Nobia. This included facilitating Nobia's fully guaranteed SEK 1.3 billion rights issue, followed by our representation in negotiations securing an extension and amendment of the company’s credit facilities. Furthermore, our involvement in the divestments of Nobia's kitchen suppliers ewe and Bribus in Austria and the Netherlands, respectively, signifies Nobia's strategic commitment to focusing on its core markets. Additionally, the SEK 1.3 billion sale and leaseback of its modern and state of the art factory property in Sweden enhances Nobia’s financial standing.

“We are thrilled to further strengthen our enduring and robust partnership with Nobia. Their vote of confidence in entrusting us with these significant transactions is deeply appreciated. Together, we look forward to continuing building upon this foundation and achieving continued success,” said Johan Thiman, White & Case Stockholm partner and Office Executive Partner.

The White & Case team which advised on the rights issue was led by partner Johan Thiman (Stockholm) and included partner Mikko Hulkko (Helsinki), and associates Izabella Barisa, Alexander Lausev Mardell, Alexander Hase (all Stockholm) and Thomas Killeen (Helsinki).

The White & Case team which advised on the extension and amendment of the debt facilities was led by partner Carl Hugo Parment (Stockholm) and included associate Alexander Berlin-Jarhamn, Janina Stjernqvist and Jakob Matell (all Stockholm).
