Signs scientific collaboration agreement

Dentware Scandinavia AB today announced that the company has expanded it research and development network by entering an agreement on scientific collaboration with Dr Marta Revilla Leon, Revilla Research Centre, Madrid, Spain. The agreement includes access to knowledge and dental resources for preclinical and clinical product evaluation and development, as well as development of additive manufacturing techniques. Dr Revilla will undertake a number of studies and assist Dentware in its scientific work.

Dentware CEO Per Dybwad stated: ”With her significant clinical experience as a prosthodontist and lecturer in aesthetic dentistry at Complutense university in Madrid as well as a conference speaker, Dr Revilla compliments and contributes greatly to Dentware’s work in the field. We look forward to this collaboration. We already enjoy long-term collaboration with a number of university dental faculties and now we are adding to our rewarding and cost-effective collaborations through access to broad expertise in the evaluation and continuous development of our innovate products”.

On her part, Dr Revilla added: “I am very pleased to have entered this agreement which will allow me both to gain further knowledge and to share knowledge about Dentware’s innovative additive manufacturing technology with its many possibilities. The collaboration with Dentware is very important because it will enable me to accelerate and enhance current research projects on 3D additive manufacturing techniques in the prosthodontics field. In addition, the agreement with Dentware opens up possibilities of additional research projects in a short period of time.”
