About Us

WIN WIN Award is an international sustainability prize of SEK 1 million that recognises groundbreaking contributions to a more sustainable future. The award has been presented annually in Gothenburg since 2000 and highlights solutions to some of the most pressing societal challenges of our time. Since 2018, the WIN WIN Youth Award has also been presented. The prize of SEK 100,000 recognises young changemakers aged 13–29 who are contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world. In addition to the awards, the organisation arranges knowledge-sharing activities where international and local perspectives on sustainable development meet. WIN WIN operates as a non-profit association and is funded by partner members from the public sector, business and academia. Laureates are selected through an open nomination process and an independent jury.
