Tenth Annual Wine Enthusiast Toast of the Town Series Kicks Off Next Week
The largest wine media company in the world launches their premier wine and restaurant events next Thursday, May 3rd, 2012
New York, NY (April 25, 2012) – Wine Enthusiast announced its annual Toast of the Town wine and food tasting series will kick off next week in New York City at the historic Oscar Hammerstein Ballroom, with a record 37 restaurants participating and nearly 500 wines, spirits and beers being poured. With this year marking the tenth of the series, it will be the largest wine and restaurant event of its kind.
Over the past decade, Wine Enthusiast’s Toast of the Town has connected acclaimed wineries and restaurants in major cities throughout the U.S. with wine-loving guests and readers. The uniqueness of the events lies not only in their diverse selection of wine and food offerings, but also the iconic venues in which each event is held. Live music adds to the ambiance of each city, setting the stage for one the best nights out of the year.
Following the celebration in the Big Apple, Wine Enthusiast moves on to Chicago on Friday, June 8th pouring hundreds of wines and serving the Windy City’s best dishes at the world renowned Field Museum. The last stop of 2012 will be at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. on Friday, June 22nd for the ultimate night out in our nation’s capital.
The Toast of the Town event series is the nation’s premier wine-and-food tasting affair where attendees in each city sample the gourmet dishes of over 35 top local restaurants along with 500 select wines from around the world, all in a famous world-class venue.
