Wine Enthusiast Announces Toast of the Town 2011 Dates
One of America’s most anticipated wine-and-food events comes to five major cities
New York, NY (February 22, 2011) – Wine Enthusiast has announced the 2011 schedule for its annual Toast of the Town event series, the nation's premier wine-and-food tasting affair hosted in San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago and, new this year, Miami. Attendees in each city will sample the gourmet dishes of 30 top local restaurants along with 500 select wines from around the world, all in a famous world-class venue.
The first stop for Toast of the Town will be in San Francisco on Thursday April 7th, making its debut at the grand City Hall. Following the city by the bay gala, guests will be invited to experience the New York event at Avery Fisher Hall in the heart of Lincoln Center, for the first time, on Thursday May 5th. Washington, D.C.'s stunning National Building Museum marks the third Toast of the Town on Friday, May 20th, followed by the landmark Field Museum in Chicago on Friday, June 17th.
The series culminates in Miami, where Wine Enthusiast brings this widely acclaimed tasting event to the Adrienne Arsht Center. The Adrienne Arsht is a stunning cultural center that will create the perfect backdrop for the hundreds of wines and signature dishes awaiting guests on September 23rd 2011. Toast of the Town Miami marks the first time a wine-and-food event of this magnitude has ever been hosted at this renowned venue.
