RUBIK’S VOID PUZZLE WINS TWO AWARDS
Winning Moves Games’ Third Award In 2012
Danvers, Mass. (July 11, 2012) – Winning Moves Games is proud to announce that its Rubik’s® Void Puzzle has won 2 prestigious awards: the ASTRA Award for Best Toys For Kids in the Brain Teasers category and the Toy Insider Award for the Spring & Summer Hot Toys List.
ASTRA is the American Specialty Toy and Retailing Association and is the most important organization for specialty retailers like Winning Moves Games. Award winners were voted on by retailers at ASTRA’s Marketplace & Academy in Baltimore, MD in June 2012. Retailers viewed and voted for their favorite nominated products online and at a special display area on the exhibit floor. This is the first ever ASTRA Award for Winning Moves.
Equally impressive is the Toy Insider Award for the Spring & Summer Hot Toys List. 2012 is the 7th year for the Toy Insider but is the first year for their Spring & Summer List. Winning Moves’ Rubik’s® Void puzzle was chosen because of its creative design and high quality construction. This is also the first ever Toy Insider Award for Winning Moves.
The revolutionary new Rubik’s® Void is puzzling to comprehend because there’s a hole right in the middle of it. Consumers can literally put their finger right through the center of the Void. The object is to solve each side, much like you would a standard Rubik’s Cube, but that’s where the similarities end. The Void has different colors, rounded edges, and requires a different solution. This is a hole new challenge!
This is the third award for Winning Moves Games in 2012. Their Tower Challenge™ game has also won a prestigious Parents’ Choice Award.
