Golden Edged Custom Cards Replace Expensive Tile Sets

Danvers, Mass. (Janunary 31, 2012) –New this year from Winning Moves Games is the Mah Jongg Card Game, officially endorsed by the American Mah Jongg Association.  It features a custom deck of golden edged cards that evokes the style and quality of the classic luxurious tiles.  Players will immediately recognize the familiar Craks, Dots and Bams (the suits) as well as the Dragons, Winds, Flowers and Jokers.  Scoring and game play are authentic to the standard American Mah Jongg rules.

In the basic game, players compete to be the first to go Mah Jongg – lay down 3 sets of 4 cards and a pair.  In the advanced game, players go Mah Jongg when they complete the requirements for a winning hand using a scorecard from the American Mah Jongg Association.

The beautiful tile game has been a cherished prize for any game player but the drawback has always been the price.  A quality set of Mah Jongg tiles will retail over $100.  However, the new Mah Jongg Card Game is a family-friendly $15.95.

“The Mah Jongg Card Game is yet another great way to experience this fascinating, time-honored game—anywhere you go! We highly recommend it” says Lois Madow, President of The American Mah Jongg Association.

Winning Moves Games has delighted game players for more than 15 years with their line of classic and custom card games, board games and puzzles.  Mah Jongg Card Game is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, Calendar Club Stores, specialty retailers nationwide and at www.winning-moves.com.
