Sign On and Telia Electronic Commerce AB cooperating on e-security The Swedish company Sign On and Telia Electronic Commerce AB have begun cooperating in the field of electronically signed documents. The two companies are launching simple and secure methods for signing and sending vital business documents via the Internet. New technology and electronic form archives from the Swedish company Sign On make it possible to submit and sign agreements as well as modify forms via the Internet. Sign On has developed FormPipe, a service that combines electronic signatures from Telia Electronic Commerce AB, for example, with electronic documents. Sign On develops intelligent forms with built-in instructions tailored to the specific business and operations of each customer. This enables a customer's employees to retrieve needed documents from the Internet, complete them and submit them to sub-contractors or other partners or store them for later use. Telia Electronic Commerce AB's PKI-based service, OnSite, makes it possible to identify, sign and distribute documents via the Internet. At the beginning of the year, electronically signed documents became as legally valid as handwritten documents. Thanks to these new services, FormPipe and OnSite, contracts, applications, returns and other forms can be handled and submitted entirely via the Internet. Corporate customers can purchase these services from Sign On and Telia Electronic Commerce AB.
