Sign On and the Association of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industry
Sign On and the Association of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industry in new solution The Association of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industry [Svenska IT- företagens Organisation] is the first organisation in Europe to offer standard agreements and agreement templates directly via the Internet. This also heralds the start of a new product line for Sign On, Sign On Pay. The Association of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industry has been offering standard agreements for sale on the market for many years. These agreements have been sent by post to members of the Association or others, together with an invoice. - The general terms and conditions we provide have the status of a standard agreement for the IT sector and among the sector's customers, says Stefan Holm, who is responsible for agreements at the Association. The new, fully Internet-based system enables a member to go to the Association's home page and identify himself by entering details about the company in order to receive a subscription to the Association's standard agreements. The agreement can then be downloaded directly via the Internet. - The buyer can have direct access to the service, irrespective of time or place, something which is helpful in submitting tenders or drawing up agreements, when our agreements are often used, concludes Stefan Holm. - The Association of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industry is breaking new ground and turning on its head the traditional way of distributing this form of document. Interest from other organisations has been high to say the least, which is why Sign On sees the deal as the first of many to come, says Sign On's Vice President Andreas Halvarsson. The Association of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industry is a trade organisation for companies which develop, manufacture and sell IT products and services. The Association has approximately 600 member companies and is therefore the second-largest association within the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (formerly the Swedish Employers' Confederation [SAF] and the Federation of Swedish Industries [Industriförbundet]). The electronic agreement service is available on the Association's home page at www.itforetagen.se For further information contact: Andreas Halvarsson, Vice President Sign On, tel: +46 (0)8-555 290 07, +46 (0)70-545 95 95, e-mail: andreas.halvarsson@signon.se Images for free publication are available to download at www.signon.se ------------------------------------------------------------ This information was brought to you by Waymaker http://www.waymaker.net The following files are available for download: http://www.waymaker.net/bitonline/2002/05/24/20020524BIT00100/wkr0001.doc http://www.waymaker.net/bitonline/2002/05/24/20020524BIT00100/wkr0002.pdf
