Sign On signs contract with Linköping city - A step towards a 24 hour city! The listed company Sign On has signed an agreement to supply Linköping city with products and services to create and distribute all of the city's internal and external forms and documents on the Internet. This solution is linked to Linköping's homepage and enables residents to easily download and fill out the city's forms. Further, the city's employees will be able to use the same system for Linköping's all internal forms. "In a next step we also see the opportunity for residents to send and sign the forms electronically," says Örjan Engström, Purchasing Manager at Linköping city. "Then, the entire transaction from sender to receiver can be done electronically," Engström concludes. "Since January 1, an electronic signature is as legally valid as a handwritten signature in Sweden and hence gives the same status," says Andreas Halvarsson, Vice President of Sign On. The form archive will be accessible 24 hours a day at www.linkoping.se.
