Woodsafé's sustainability work is rewarded with Gold level by EcoVadis
EcoVadis is the most comprehensive evaluation that Woodsafe´'s sustainability work goes through. We are very proud to announce that we have reached the Gold level in EcoVadi's annual sustainability evaluation, during our first year of evaluation, says CEO Thomas Bengtsson.
EcoVadi's global network has so far analyzed more than 75,000 companies that are assessed and given points from 0 to 100. The assessment is based on 21 criterias in the areas of environment, HR including employee rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing where the documentation must be proven for about 200 possible answers.
This year was the first year Woodsafe underwent EcoVadi's objective third-party valuation, which resulted in Woodsafe placing in the top 5% of 75,000 analyzed companies and in the top 1% “Overall Score and Environment” of companies rated by EcoVadis in the manufacturing of wood and wood products (except furniture) and manufacture of industrial goods.
