Zaandam, The Netherlands (April 3, 2014) – For one of the most important applications in modern times, a cumbersome name has been established – the term “digital asset management” is hard to understand for many. In addition, the requirements of the industries and its applications are simply too different for a standardized approach. Digital asset management may be just a tool for the management of digital files, but it can also be an enterprise application for the management of approval processes and the control of workflows.

Global DAM study analyzes understanding and requirements
With its global “Digital Asset Management (DAM) Survey 2014”, WoodWing aims to draw a comprehensive picture of the general situation in the digital asset management segment. The study covers the understanding of DAM and the requirements of users in all industries including publishing, marketing, advertisement, retail, travel, fashion and more. It addresses participants of any digital asset management experience level – novices, users, and experts.

“As a supplier of a versatile DAM solution we see in our daily business how fragmented the digital asset management playfield is,“ said Roel-Jan Mouw, CEO of WoodWing. “With its wide variety of use cases and requirements it´s hard for prospects and even users to define the most suitable strategy for DAM. By the results of our study, we want to provide useful guidance, helping prospects and users to make the right decisions.“

The questionnaire is available at http://t.co/hHyndY0Ygz, the deadline to participate is April 30. Among all participants, WoodWing will give away one GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition video camera, worth $399.99. The results of the study will be published during May and sent to all participants.
