Detroit / Ann Arbor – (May 15, 2014) WoodWing Software and its US solution partner Aysling today announced that they have implemented WoodWing´s digital asset management solution Elvis DAM for The American Legion, as part of a comprehensive digital content marketing solution.

The American Legion is the nation’s largest veterans service organization. The American Legion Media and Communication Division produces eight channels of multi-media communications including web, social media, e-newsletters, mobile apps, press releases, videos, print collateral and several print publications including their flagship, The American Legion Magazine.

Elvis DAM replaces an outdated DAM previously used by The American Legion. Elvis DAM is a robust system that has the capability to manage multiple file types such as images, videos, PDFs, and others with a drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to share and manage media between multiple users. Integrated with Enterprise 9, the latest version of WoodWing’s multi-channel publishing system, the pair of solutions come together to provide a seamless workflow for The American Legion Media and Communications team.

“We needed a digital asset management solution that would fit easily into our current workflow and could handle video,” said Holly Soria, Visual Art Team Manager at The American Legion. “Elvis DAM will be the warehouse for our image collection, a means of delivering materials to outside sources and a means for freelancers to deliver material to us.”

“We are excited and proud to work with The American Legion to provide a fully integrated publishing system that makes content marketing distribution easier,” said Patrick Becker, president of Aysling. “The integration of Elvis DAM with WoodWing Enterprise is just one of the services that Aysling provides to help businesses run more efficiently and provide value to their audiences.”

In the era of multi-channel publishing and content marketing, our customers are increasingly discovering the benefits provided by a fully integrated publishing environment,” said Shawn Duffy, Managing Director WoodWing The Americas. “We are excited that The American Legion selected Elvis DAM as its digital asset management system to complement Enterprise.”

The Aysling and The American Legion teams worked together to put more than 20 users on the system.
