Wulff to raise its outlook for the Full-Year Operating Result 2020

STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE  JULY 21, 2020 AT 8.00 A.M.

Wulff raises its outlook for the operating result of 2020. The Company estimates that the comparable operating profit of 2020 will grow from comparable operating of 2019, which was 1.7 million euros. In the Interim Report published on April 27, 2020, the Company estimated that the comparable operating result of 2020 would decrease from year 2019.

Wulff reacted quickly to the exceptional circumstances and changes in the market developing its sales methods and product portfolio agilely to suit the circumstances. The ability to adjust the product portfolio and the way of working quickly is an essential part of Wulff’s culture, of which reacting to the corona virus crisis is a good example. In the exceptional circumstances of the spring, for example the share of hygiene, cleaning, and protective products in the sales increased significantly. Current product portfolio was strengthened by acquiring new suppliers as competent partners in addition to new products. In addition, the company carried out extensive adjustment measurements in those businesses which were especially impacted by corona virus preventing restrictions in traveling and gathering.
