Workplace products and services sales company Wulff is seeking growth in a new industry sector: staff leasing. The venture into this sector will kick off energetically on January 2, 2024, with multiple locations across Finland. Sami Asikainen will start as the CEO of Wulff Works Oy.

Wulff Works aims to employ over 1,000 professionals in its first year of operation, particularly in construction, industry, restaurant, and logistics sectors. The company is expected to contribute approximately 15 million euros in revenue to the group in its first year, 2024, with a positive cash flow anticipated by the end of 2024.

Wulff's strategy includes significant growth in service business operations. “Now is the right time for us to enter this sector, as we have secured the best team to initiate the business. Local operation leaders, teams, and Sami Asikainen all have strong experience in staff leasing and a passion to develop the best employee and customer experience in the industry. We share the same goals,” states Elina Rahkonen, CEO of Wulff Group.

Staff leasing is a market worth approximately 2.5 billion euros in Finland, expected to grow, especially with the economy's recovery. Asikainen, previously heading Eezy Oyj and Smile Henkilöstöpalvelut, believes in Wulff Works’ strong growth prospects. The growth is driven by the increasing demand for work flexibility and the challenge employers face in finding the right talent. Asikainen articulates the company’s success formula: “Our approach is to make job searching and partnership both personal and enjoyable, simplifying the process for everyone involved. Our daily work is guided by Wulff's strong values: making the world a better place, one employee at a time,” he summarizes.

Wulff's Senior Advisor Heikki Vienola is pleased that Asikainen, who previously served as CEO of Wulff Oy Ab in the 2010s, is leading Wulff's newest business venture. “As a Wulff returnee, Sami is well-acquainted with Wulff’s operations and sales company culture, and shares our values. I believe we have great potential to quickly become one of the major players in the industry in Finland. Sami's capable team is supported by Wulff Group professionals, and operational efficiency in activities is enhanced by the structures provided by the group. I am confident that the new business will positively impact Wulff's future revenue and profitability.”

Wulff Works Oy and its local subsidiaries are subsidiaries of the Wulff Group. Key personnel are committed to the operation through a shareholder model. Operations will commence nationwide immediately with six offices across Finland. Job seeker and employer online services will open at the beginning of January at wulffworks.fi.
