All set for WYG week in Belfast
The first week of October sees the return of WYG Week, a series of events over a five day programme to say thank you to our clients as well as offering an occasion to network with other professionals working in the built environment.
Award winning consultancy WYG whose regional office is based in Locksley Business Park, Belfast will host a variety of seminars and evening networking events nationwide focusing on topical industry subjects commencing on 1 October 2012.
WYG’s Planning and Environment team in Belfast will hold an informal drinks reception at Bert’s Bar in the Merchant Hotel in Belfast city centre for its clients on 3 October 2012.
The evening event will include a brief talk from Michael Graham, Regional Director, WYG and William Orbinson QC, a key planning barrister in Northern Ireland. The talk will provide some insightful discussion on recent developments in planning affecting Northern Ireland.
Tim Holden, Managing Director of WYG Planning & Environment said: ‘We’re delighted to be able to celebrate another WYG Week. This is the ideal opportunity to say a big ‘thank you’ to our clients and colleagues who have worked so hard on many challenging and rewarding projects throughout the year’.
Tim added, ‘Planning has rarely featured so prominently in the economic and political arena. The Government’s intention to introduce further changes to the planning system will, I think, raise new opportunities and challenges for us all. We will be exploring these opportunities through the various events we have planned. We hope everyone associated with WYG will join us in celebrating what I am confident will be a successful WYG Week.’
