All set for WYG week in Bristol
The first week of October sees the return of WYG Week, a series of events over a five day programme to say thank you to clients as well as offering an occasion to network with other professionals working in the built environment.
Award winning consultancy WYG, which has a regional office in Bristol, will host a variety of seminars and evening networking events nationwide focusing on topical industry subjects commencing on 1 October 2012.
This year, the emphasis will be on Planning and Environment services and will boast a larger client and colleague invitation list and larger venues making the events bigger and better than ever before.
To celebrate WYG Week, the Bristol office will be hosting a breakfast seminar for clients on Friday 5 October at the M-Shed (the former Industrial Museum), Princes Wharf, Bristol. The seminar will include guest speakers from the University of the West of England and Stephen Ashworth, Solicitor at SNR Denton.
Tim Holden, Managing Director of WYG Planning & Environment said: ‘We’re delighted to be able to celebrate another WYG Week. This is the ideal opportunity to say a big ‘thank you’ to our clients and colleagues who have worked so hard on many challenging and rewarding projects throughout the year’.
Tim added, ‘Planning has rarely featured so prominently in the economic and political arena. The Government’s intention to introduce further changes to the planning system will, I think, raise new opportunities and challenges for us all. We will be exploring these opportunities through the various events we have planned. We hope everyone associated with WYG will join us in celebrating what I am confident will be a successful WYG Week.’
