Edinburgh all set for WYG Week
The first week of October sees the return of WYG Week, a series of events over a five day programme to say thank you to our clients as well as offering an occasion to network with other professionals in the built environment.
Award winning consultancy, WYG Planning & Environment, will host a variety of seminars and evening events across their network of offices focusing on topical industry subjects.
To celebrate WYG Week, the Edinburgh office will be presenting a Scottish planning update, discussing some of the key issues facing developers in the context of recent project experience. This will be followed by a wine tasting and networking event hosted by Centotre’s very own sommelier in the private dining room at Centotre on George Street, Edinburgh.
Tony Thomas, Director of WYG Planning & Environment in Edinburgh said; ‘We’re delighted to be able to celebrate another WYG Week. This is the ideal opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to our clients and colleagues who have worked so hard on many challenging and rewarding projects throughout the year’.
Tony added, ‘Planning has rarely featured so prominently in the economic and political arena. The Government’s intention to introduce further changes to the planning system will, I think, raise new opportunities and challenges for us all. We will be exploring these opportunities through the various events we have planned. We hope everyone associated with WYG will join us in celebrating what I am confident will be a successful WYG Week.’
