WYG welcomes new associate to strengthen waste management team

Multi-disciplinary consultancy, WYG has appointed Jeff Evans as an Associate to strengthen its waste management team who will be based at headquarters in Leeds aiming to spearhead business development in the North.

Jeff brings a wealth of experience to the role from working in both the public and private sector and has a PhD in Environmental Engineering. His previous role was as Waste Partnership Manager for the York and North Yorkshire Waste Partnership responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of the joint waste strategy for nine local authorities. Prior to this, he was an Associate Director at Waterman plc, leading the carbon, energy and waste management team which are based in Leeds. 

Jeff said: ‘I am excited to take up this opportunity to work at WYG having worked with the consultancy as a customer in my previous role.  It was the quality of the people that made the difference in wanting to join the team at WYG’.

Russell Lane, Associate, said: ‘Jeff joins WYG at an exciting time and will be leading the further development of our existing business with waste authorities in the North of England.
