AgroCognitive and Wyld Networks collaborate to pilot satellite IoT solution to collect data in agriculture
Wyld Networks today announce a partnership with AgroCognitive, a smart precision agriculture platform for sustainable, efficient and profitable food production. Ahead of the commercial launch of Wyld Connect, the companies will deploy the combination of their technologies to enable remote satellite IoT connectivity in South America.
There are major challenges in gathering critical data for large areas of crops and orchards in South America due to poor cellular coverage. This data is required to help increase yields and improve sustainability.
Wyld’s affordable satellite IoT offering helps collect the data in these areas of poor cellular coverage. AgroCognitive have identified opportunities to deploy Wyld Connect for its customers in Ecuador and Paraguay and deliver critical new data sources to the AgroCognitive platform.
