Wyld Networks’ satellite IoT product range now commercially available for order
Leading virtual satellite network operator Wyld Networks announces that the company’s Wyld Connect IoT modules and terminals today, 22nd of March 2022, are commercially available for order. This will enable customers to integrate the technology into new IoT sensors, or retrofit to existing IoT sensors, ahead of the commercial launch of Wyld’s full satellite network service in the second half of 2022.

It is a landmark achievement for Wyld and a result of considerable effort spent both in product development and in signing launch partners in various sectors where the demand for global connectivity is significant,” said Alastair Williamson, CEO of Wyld Networks.
In parallel with the market launch of the Wyld Connect product range of IoT modules and terminals, development of the provisioning and payment platform Wyld Fusion continues ahead of the commercial launch of Wyld’s complete satellite network service planned to the second half of 2022.
“We are making considerable progress towards full commercialisation of our IoT solution. We recently announced receipt of purchase orders totalling SEK 17 million for Wyld Connect, and we are engaged in commercial discussions with multiple customers to facilitate further purchase orders,” said Alastair Williamson.
Wyld Connect is a unique hybrid solution for IoT connectivity. It connects IoT sensors on the ground directly and affordably to Eutelsat’s constellation of low earth orbiting satellites, and to a terrestrial IoT LoRaWAN© network if available.
“This expands our customer base significantly to include existing terrestrial IoT LoRaWAN© operators such as American Tower and Senet Inc, who seek to offer their customers 100% global connectivity”, said Alastair Williamson.
