Wyld Networks and Shamal Space sign agreement to deliver satellite IoT solutions across Brazil
Wyld Networks and Shamal Space have developed a cooperation framework agreement with the objective of allowing both organizations to benefit from working on common business opportunities in Brazil and Latin America. The framework will target customers with remotely located assets, delivering end-to-end satellite IoT connectivity solutions to address connectivity challenges across Agribusiness, Oil & Gas, Energy and Mining Industries.
Shamal Space is a Brazilian-based, highly specialized, spacetech and project integration company. Composed of a team of experienced specialists, Shamal Space was established with the objective of providing space-related solutions to space and terrestrial customers with challenges across multiple industries. Skill sets include Micro, Nano and Cubesats, Spaceports and Launching facilities, Mission Control Centers, Ground stations, asset monitoring and process control through satellite IoT.
The partnership will connect assets that are remotely located in areas of Brazil and Latin America not covered by any mobile or even landline networks, therefore requiring IoT Satellite based solutions. Shamal Space holds a Space Operator license from - Brazilian Space Agency (AEB/MCTI) / Alcantara Spaceport.
