UK-based video production team Wyzowl.com have launched a £10,000 competition today, to boost economic growth in the digital industry.

The incredible prize aims to give start up businesses a helping hand in a seemingly cutthroat industry, with everything from marketing materials through to industry-leading hardware and software up for grabs.

With nearly a million young people out of work and David Cameron suggesting young people should set up their own company, Wyzowl.com have joined forces with 14 other businesses and put together ‘The big business bundle’ which will help any entrepreneur on the road to success.

Just some of the businesses involved include video hosting site Wistia.com, memory and storage experts Lexar.com and project manager specialists, Mavenlink.com.

CEO and founder of Wyzowl.com Matt Byrom said: “This is a great opportunity for people wanting to start their own business and utilise some of the best tools out there.”

“I set up Wyzowl.com in 2009 and I know just how difficult it is to get off the ground and if I had half the help that our competition is giving away, I would be ecstatic.”

Included in the ‘big business bundle’ are prizes such as – 4GB of RAM and a 240GB SSD from Crucial, a custom infographic by Visual.ly, and an animated video by Wyzowl.com themselves.

The competition is now open for anybody to enter and will close Thursday, October 31, 2013.

Byrom added: “With the new government plans to push young people into building their own business, I thought it would be a great idea to give young talent out there a real helping hand and that’s exactly what you can find with our prize.”
