Xact Kapitalförvaltning transfers management of all funds to Handelsbanken Fonder
Handelsbanken’s Swedish mutual fund operations are pursued in two separate companies. Actively managed funds are offered by Handelsbanken Fonder AB, while index-based and exchange-traded funds (ETF) are offered by Xact Kapitalförvaltning AB. Both fund management companies are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Svenska Handelsbanken AB (PLC).
As previously announced, the Board of Xact Kapitalförvaltning has resolved to transfer the management of the company’s funds to Handelsbanken Fonder. The Board of Handelsbanken Fonder has resolved to take over the management of said funds.
The Financial Supervisory Authority has now granted its consent to the transfer of the funds.
As of 1 April 2020, all of the funds currently provided by Xact Kapitalförvaltning will be managed by Handelsbanken Fonder. Xact Kapitalförvaltning will cease to carry out authorised operations as of 1 April 2020.
The funds will retain their names and the management of the funds will not be affected by the change.
